Proposed by Mr Rapp, seconded by Mr Harrison, and carried-" That a oommittee consisting of not less than three representatives from each Of the above bodies shall he elected, to manage the affairs of the association. 1 ! ''

Mr Rapp deprecated the idea of raising money by loan and thought they could ' raiaa sufficient by private subscription. Chairman did not think they should stop short of a loan if it were necessary to do the work in a proper manner! If a loan were, raised, they would very soon devise'means fnr paying it off. Proposed by Mr McGregor, seconded by Mr Moore and carried: "That until the Committee are in a position pecuniarily to commence work, no negotiations be opened with the Park Trustees,

Proposed by Mr Moore,, seconded by Mr Merrison and carried: "That the Committee be empowered to make suoli arrangements as they may think .proper for the following purposes:-The oreation ,of interest and sinking fund to pay off any liability whioh may be incurred in the improvement of the oval. To fix the method of payment, and amount of contribution which shall be made by the several bodies joining in this movement and generally to ensure suoh speedy economio and effectual improvements to the Park oval, as shall render it. suitable for all kinds of public recreation." The following gentlemen were appoiu. ted a general Committee—Messri W. Lowes, W. H. Beetham, T. Chamberlain,' W. Sellar, D, MoGregor, F. Harrison, W. D'Aroy, W. MoKenzie, F. G. Moore, 6. Heron, A. Bish, P. Gray,T. 0. D'Arcy, W Harvey, A. Hathaway, J. Paytpn, C._ Morison, A. R. Bunny, Rev L. M. Isitt, W. Rapp, A,W. Hogg, O.DeOastro, A. Elkins. Messrs W. D'Aroy and W.
