SERIOUS DISAGREEMENT AT A WOOLSALE.

Chkiseohuroh,: December 19 The second eoriea of wool sales for the present Beaaon 'were to have been opened to-day at tho'rooms of Messrs H, Watson and Co., Wilkin,, and; J. Lusford Owing, howover to serious disagreement arising between the Vendors Bnd purchaeore: no sales were effected. Tins disagreement aroße from the fact thatthe sellers had determined to make a charge of one oight of a pertny ;perlb to cover cost of delivery, instead'of 'following the old plan of making a fixed charge per bale. The buyer* declined absolutely to come under the new regulationj'and walked out of the rooms, after the reading of the conditions; ■ Negotiations were begun between the buyers and sellers during the afternoon, in order to settle the difficulty, the former recognising that: some charge was'reasonable.,' The sales will go on to-morrow. .•■'■'.: ■" ( .
