Total stakes, £B2- nor a bad start for the first year and sundry expenses incurred in getting the course prepared ; also in get- > ting hurdles,.'etc., and I believe we shall still have£Bo or £4O in hand as a balance towards next year. The Now Free Methodist's Church is to' bo opened on New Year's Day I hear. It certainly is a very pretty little church, and worthy the place assigned to it, viz! on the hill facing the township. .
