An Amberley telegram in to-nights' Star says:—" Yesterday a man, named Georae Ruddock, working on •Mr McNaughton's farm, had.oceiision to visit the township, MoNoughton wasremonitrating with him for something, when Ruddock drew from his side pookot a sixbarrelled revolver, which was : afterwards found to ho fully loaded, He aimed at and threatened MoNatighton, who, keoping very 000 l under, such circumstances, quietly talked the man down. Ruddook then left the township for the farm.. He rotutned to : Amberley this morning,, and was very cleverly arrested by Constable Watt,who, upon searchine bim, found the revolver, as before stated, in all. ehambors. The accused will he brought before the Bench tomorrow at ten o.'clook. This is the second madman Mr McNaughtnn has had lin his employ during the past few nienths, although the first never showed any inurdorous intentions, -
