There was a very good muster of tlie Greytown Riflo Volunteors at the monthly Inspection Parade held lust Tuesday even* ing. Captain Tally was in command with Lieutenan ; Cameron, who put the company through the various excercises for about an hour and a half, when there was a general meeeting of the members to consider tha now regulations. It was resolved to adjourn for a fortnight when the officers wero to find out ill the particulars, and explain them to the members of the Company, Mr Archibald Fortes, the famous war correspondent is willing to visit Masterton if a prospect of a good house can be assured, The principal difficulty to be overcome is the absence of a suitable lecture room. Our hall is burnt down, and the upper room of the Institute is under the iron heel of our Borousk Council.
