MASTERTON TOWN LANDS TRUST.
Tub ordinary monthly meeting of the Town Lands Trust was held last evening. Present; Messrs Feist (Chairman), Gapper, and Wriglejr, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. A letter ms read from Mr Bunny, declining to reduce his account. It was referred to the Chairman and Secretary. Two small -accounts for advertising were passed for paymont. ■An application from the Park Trust for a grant of £2O due was road .and acceded to. '' '' •' ■-
■ Mr J. Clayson wrote asking tho Trust to lease tu him part' of acta 72 and offering to pay £o per aiinum for the first ten yearn and £lO po'r aniium (or tho followitig eloten years. Tho application was agreed to, a period of eighteen months being allowed for tin erection of a building on the land. Mr H. S,: Wardell wrote asking tlia Trust'to give the other part of the Town Hall acre subject to tho existing lease. Tho Trust expressed its willingness to accede to the request Subject to the approval of their constituents, • The meeting tlieu adjourned.
