Shioping wheat is quiet but steady at 5s 4d to 5i sd. New Zealand feed oats are dull and eaaier at 4s Id to 4s 3d. Heavy rains that are falling have reduced the value of feeding grains, and the crops in early districts, where cot, are suffering from excessive wet, while the rain is benefiting the late districts. The verdicf of the jury' stated - that the captain, mate, chief engineer, and carpenter had committed a grave error of judgment in failing to take proper precautious for the safety of the vessel..
The Australian o'rioketers were accorded a banquet to-night in honor of their return from England. A largo number of citizens were present, and runoh .enthußiam prevailed.
