To be run under the Masterton-Opaki Jockey Club Rules, The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock, The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the Course after each pre-, ceding race. The District Race 1b open to all horseß owned in the district at leaßt six months previous to this race r eeting, Incase of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes aftor tho rape is run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious, The winner of tho first day's Haok Race will not be allowed to run for tho ono on tho second day. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (Hack Races excepted) unless ho be a subscriber of at least £1 to tho Race Fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before tbe fame of starting. NOMINATIONS an,l GENERAL EN TRIES to be sealed and addressed to the Hon. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to made to the Secretary fifteen minutes after the District Handicap is run. Weights to be declared fifteen minutes after tho nominations have closed j and acceptances will close fifteen minutes after the veights have been declared.
