A REJOINDER.
• TO THE EDITOR, j \ Sir,~-I was very pleased to read Mr Robins' letter in your issue of last evening. As he professes his readiness to "produce if necessary" the testimonials • given to his daughter by Mr Grundy, I would suggest that he publish them forth* ,with,,.so. that ,we may form our.own,,„ opinion on their value, It is stated ~ that the! language of the testimonials i»- most, guarded, and that < the testimonials themselves are anything but""' "■■""■-"" flattering ,'to .Miss' Robins atateatkr. I would also 'suggest that Miss Robina apply to Mr Lee, Inspector of Schools, for a testimonial; his opinion would be ■* ajree and unbiassed one. It would settle . , the matter finally ono way ur the other; ',( and thepublieationofa testimonial irom ™ such ft source would either be Mr Grundy's'condemnation or justification, i'Vi-y. :-, • Concord, ■■■■.\h
