This afternoon has been proclaimed a holiday, uh the occasion of deciding the championship, Twenty have jet to fire for the Rifle Championship. Sergt. Motisem, of Wanganui, was omitted; Webster should therefore be struck out, A very cold .southerly wind was blowing across the range, accompanied with occasional showers of rain. However, it was not sufficient to stop the shooting. Some delay was caused through competitora not turning up; at the appointed time.
