■lThe annual meeting of the above' Society was held at the Club Hotel on Saturday evening last. Present-Messrs' iiowes, Hill, Perry, Fitton, Sellar, lorns, ;Hogg, and Payton. • i Mr W. Lowes having been voted to the chair, the minutes of the ing were read rind confirmed. 1 :l i . : Mr W. Sellar Secretary reported that there had been a steady increasrof members during the past year. The sale of privileges last year waß not a success, and for this reason their financial position was hardly as good as it would otherwise have been. Their receipts for the past year amounted to £lo2lßs, and their expenditure £ll7 14s lOd. Their subscriptions in arrears amounted to £23 2s, and their debit balance .was f3 8a; They had'lost during the past year by,death two old members Messrs 0. A. Vallance. and J. E "hompson.-l (.
