They are certainly/ (both splendid specimens of their class. Mr-McMaster won with Signor the Society's gold medal and Mr Russell's prize nf ten guinea*. The only exhibitors of shorthorns besides the two already, mentioiied were Mesjrs W, & H. Bidwill, who were highly commended for two exhihits, and Messrs W, U. Beetham, who gained second prize for a j bull calved since 1879.- Mr MnMaster; nained first prize and a gold medal for the heat cow, any atje, and the Society's silvef medal for the greatest number of points' in pure-brod cattle.
