ATTEMPTED MURDER AND SUICIDE.

Auckland, this day, It is stated here that Judge Fenton retires at the. end of the month, and will become agent for the London NewZealaud Native Laud Company. At 4,45 this morning, Albert Edward Long, aged nineteen, residing at Pokeno, shot his father, Richard Dixon Long, aged 03, but not fatally.
