JUDGE FENTON
ATTEMPTED MURDER AND SUICIDE.
Auckland, this day, It is stated here that Judge Fenton retires at the. end of the month, and will become agent for the London NewZealaud Native Laud Company. At 4,45 this morning, Albert Edward Long, aged nineteen, residing at Pokeno, shot his father, Richard Dixon Long, aged 03, but not fatally. The son afterwards shot himself, and the wound is expected to prove fatal. The supposed cause is a money matter. MEI)ICAL JfAN WANTED. this day. Edward Kily, of Havelook, died at Blenheim this morning, Tho town and the whole of the district is now without a medical man.
