The captain of the vessel i'i jHH Ho, which arrived at Suva reports that the captain and WBEP tour of the crew of the French cutter Portobella had been murdered at the Island of Santo, and the Vessel pillaged. A French war vessel subsequently visited Santo, but the natives' retreated to the bush.
