Should the weather continue, it,will be impossible to play, the match to-morrow. Owing to some dissatisfaction 1 in the selection of the local team, the committee re-consi-dored the matter, and have selected Brown to take the place of Campbell. THE "TWOPENNY" GOLD MEDAL. ■ Wellington, this'day, The gold medal which Messrs Joabert and Twopenny had struck off for presentation to Her Majesty the Queen to oelebr&te the opening of the Ghriatchurch Exhibition, was sent Home by his Excellency the Governor and presented to Her Majesty by , Earl Kimberley, from whom a despatoh has been received, conveying an expression of thanka from the Queen to the promoters of the Exhibition.
