Montgomery for lighting the Borough lamps at £18163 for 11 months be accepted : That the tender of Mr H. Morriss for supplying horse and cart for use*of. Borough be accepted. Also thai a culvert be put in to carry water from West-Street near the railway station, and that the ■. open gravel pit on the Monia'road be filled in. They also recommended that Kempton line be formed, »nd that East-street be formed from the junction at Papawai'road to the Northern boundary of the borough. The report of the Finance' Committee was; read -and adopted, shewing the balance in Bank to credit at £2lO lis 7d.
