The game was to have started at 2.30, but.it was, four'o'clock'before tho .vUjtbra' their team together, and a start waj made;' ' it beinij' decided to play four minute spells, On lining outfit was at once seen that the home team was much heavier than their: opponents, and from the fact of their three ■ -bft the' ? fifteen among them their chance of success looked very bright. Though all the Masterton team, were genuine.youths, some of them were rather hairy, and, this caused a little grumbling among the visitors. The following are the' names of the respective teams. The-' ground was very heavy, there being several large pools "of water, and fconse' quently loose sorimmages were the order of the day.. Both ;.side> exhibited some very fair dribbling, but the passing was; very poor.. For Masterton J.
