The Bay View Hotel on the Wakawa road was destroyed by fire at 6,30 last night, The ocoupier, Mr Fogden, smelt', a strong smell of burning, and in his-, search opened a door under the staircase when the flames broke out. The furniture was also almost completely destroyed; The license was allowed to lapse at the' last meeting of the Licensing Oourt.j The building was insured in the Norwioh for' ;£3OO and the furniture fur J2OO.
