The Tojpi Hall Was crowded Inst evening' with an appreciative audience, who . were attracted by the double bill offered by the Mastodon amateurs;' as a,benefit to Mr Gary, who had often assisted, them in their entertairimeilts hy lending them properties, &c. The • first; part of; th£ 'programme' "consisted .(£■ nigger. minstrel business. Mi' Cary acted as interlocutor, atid r Messrs Wrigley and Coker- Tambu and Bones.' The accompaniments by the or .lies ti ; a were utterly devoid of spirit and very often did more harm thari" good.; Mi Gary aang." String band constituted the orchestra, and thoir playing of the ■ v'er tures and in the interludes was a tre tUt listen to.
