We are in quite as good a position to borrow that sum'as Palmerston, and. we can offer equally good security.. The. expenditure'would The.enterprise of Talmerston in raising, a' -loan of this .amount has enhanced its credit in the North' Island. People have, faith in its.future!-. Its burgesses 'have confi:denco in their ti)wn, and it is they who really strike'•the'key note.
