From the evidence'adduced it appears that deceased's father had served in the 43rd Regiment in the Waikato and was a pensioner. Deceased had been in the A C. Force, and at one time was an apprentice to Mr Lovison, jeweller, Auckland. Deceased had been acting aa billiard marker, but had been drinking heavily lately. Tho verdict was '■ Found drowned." WAITING FOR VOGEL. Inveroakgili., this day. The members of tho Committee appointed on Saturday last were in waiting this morning at the railway station, but Sir Julius Vngel did not arrive. THE ABSENT Dunedw, this day., Driver intimates to the Press that having severed his connection with the agricultural company lie is now free to attend Parliamentary duties and leaves for Weilington on Wednesday. He denies any intention of resignation in Sir Julius Voxel's favor.
