Besolved—That Mr Skeetbe initrnokod .to complete the survey of the road from , Martinborough to the fopurupuru road, « requested by the Mastertou Higway Board, subject to the owners of the 'iluangarua 'estate consenting to the laud required being reserved as a public road.—That Mr Jaokson ask for authority to hwe he ruts on Moron book line and Ward's line filled in; also, to fill in some holes in Mitchell's ros and improve the drains,—That notices be sant out requiring all gorje hedges to be trimntcl, and the gorso spread; therofrbm on tho roada to be grubbed up and'removed.—Granted. Mr Matthews' drew attention to tho injury done to the Wostorn Like road by an overflow of flood water frohv the creek through a railway culvert. Mrßidwill asked that tome repairs bo done to the side cutting through sandhills, Kahautnra road, and "that £4 Vs voted {or fasciuing •. the. swampy portion- <>f Lower 'K&hautara road. He also advised that 13uckoridge'g',;opntract be postponed till spring.-Grante'd. ';' T The meeting then adjourned.
