THE AUSTRALIANS AT HOME. THE YOEKSHIRE MATCH. London, June 19. ■ Tho Australians commenced their cricket match lit Sheffield to-day, against an cloven of Yorkshire. An enormous crowd of spectators was present. The weather was showry dming the day, and the wicket wbb consequently somewhat heavy. The Homo team went first to the wiokots, hut with the exception of Phillips, who scored 38, they we;e unable to make a stand against tho Bplendid bowling of the Australians, and wore all disposed of for a total of 92. Garrett and Gilion both did great execution, the former taking four wickets for 27 runs, and the latter five wickets for 16. The Australians then commenced their first innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had put together 94' runs for the loss of four wickets. The highest scores were Bannerman, caught, 34; and Murdoch, not out, 42.
