WAIRARAPA HOSPITAL.

Surgeon to the Hospital Resolved " That the resignation of the custodiaft and matron be accepted,-also that lh» Secretary advertise for applications for the appointments in the Standard, Daily, Evening Post, Lyttleton Timos,;and Nelson Colonist, and the Secretary was instructed to acknowledge w.ith<. thanks Mr CockroH's present, and also to write to the Native Department to ascertain if any fund exists for payment of medieal attendance and hospital fees for Maori patients. It was resolved on the motion of the Rev. White, seconded by Mr Wyett, that Mr Skeet be requested to get the two hospital wards lathed and plat- . tered as Boon as an opportunity occ'irs, and also to have the back chimney pointed with cement. The matron was requested to procure sir pairs of sheets for hospital beds. Th» treasurer reported s-credit balance ia l bank of i 95 2s 9d, Accounts amounting to $ 17s 3d were passed for payment. It was resolved that 100 " pinus in-" signus" be purchased and planted on the. south-east side of the hoipitol ; £pround. The Rev. H, Y, Whits was requested to act as hospital viiitor for ensuing month.
