A man named John Kitto, of Miller's Flat, went to the residence of his son-in-law, Joseph Augustus Roggiero, •about 7 o'clock last night, and, without imy warning, shot through the window with a rifle at Roggiero, who was sitting by the fire,, The screams of Rnggiero's wifo attracted her brother-in-law, v/ho ha>> - to pass Kitto's house.
