PRIZE FIRING.

The third competition for the challenge cup of the Carterton Volunteer Me Corps, together with prizes offered by residents, took place at, the Taratahi butts on Saturday, the firing oommenci'ng at 11 a.m., and concluding about 4 p.m., 18 members competition The firing was at ai Wimbledon target, 5 shots each range, 200 yds standing, 400 kneeling, and ,500 and 600 any position.
