"As you were" is the final command of Captain Sir Arthur Gordon, and this after Opposition papers, have formed Grey Ministries ad libitum \ and havo blessed the special Providence which inspired His Excellency with the wisdom to send for Sir George. Tho unhappy Opposition Press, when it found that its "castle in the air" had vanished was driven to the wretched extremity of eating all its own words or of proclaiming the wonderful tidings that Sir George Grey advised His Excellency so send for Mr WhUAKER. It is pretty well well known that Sir George did not agree with Sir Ajtiiur in the official interview held at Wellington, and that they parted on anything but friendly terms. His Excellency now stands alone, in this colony, having, by his last piece of folly offended the Opposition party as well as the Ministerial one.
