An extensive strike of colliers has occurred at Wrexham, in Denbignshire, Wales. The locked-out miners to-day in great numbers besieged the officers of the various mines, and the latter only effected their escape from the attack of tho mob with difficulty. The military stationed in the neighborhood had to be called out before the disturbance could be suppressed, Sir Henry Parlies was this evening entertained at a banquet by tLe Bight Hon. W. E, Gladstone, A large number of distinguished guests were invited to meet the New South Wales Premier.
