Early on Sunday morning Martin's Black Horse Hotel, next to tho Sunny Side Asylum was burglariously entered and an iron safe containing about £3OO and several detds was carried off from a room opening on to the bar. An examination of the premises leads to the belief that an entrance waß effected through a window and .that the bar door was opened from tho Inside, The safe must have been taken through tho door, and there are indications of it having been rolled over and over from the door to a, cart in which it was carried away. A cart belonging to a farmer named. James Carrick, which bad been, left opposite th&' hotel on the previous night,' is now miss-' ing, and'ahorse-belonging. to-Mr Martins' sonrin-law, which it is believed was used in the cart was yesterday afternoon found by the ; policeon the South Town Belt.
