Tho fencing is all thoroughly substantial, and there aro over 3000 acres ploughed on various parts of tho portion to be sold. All has been sown with the exception of a few smallor blocks, which will be ready for sowing this season. A district branch railway line has been for somo time contemplated from the'trtink line near Pakowhoi to Woodthorpo, a distance of about 15 miles. Woodthorpo is opposite the canterd extremity of the estate; from tlienco to Pnkititri Bus!) there is a good road laid off, and UW lately voted {o complete this route to the Government rer serve, containing a supply of the finest timber in the colony—Totara, Bimu,Matai, Ac.
