The was a great difficulty in preventing the fire from spreading to the Post and Telegraph Offices, Divers are still engaged in seeking to recover the silver lost in the Tararua. The weather is now more favorable to their operations, which they are hflpeful will yet be successful. 14th, Two boys, 14 16, sons of Mr Ryan, of Ciistlerock, were drowned in the Oreti river this afternoon while bathing. PECULIAR VINEGAR. Westport, March 14. A very Buapicioua discovery has been made here.
