Tho following correspondence was then read _ From Mr Wilson, with copy of resolutions from County Council, also with agreement fur metalling, completed. From Messrs Burnett & Yule re timber for culverts. From McGregor Bros, with account for timber. From Mr Gillard ve his contract for metalling on tho Castle Point Lino. From Mr It. Hughes with account £5. From Messrs Payton and Co, with account £7 16s 3d. From Mr D. O'Knne requesting advanco on contract. Resolved.—That Mr Gilhard's request to take metal from Blackbird Point instead of the qaarry on the hill be not acceodod to. That the oversow' call tor tenders. for forwarding a portion of tho road between Tonui and Mungapakoha, and put a sufficient number of mon on the Mungapakeha road to mako tho nocessary repairs tho cost of which will come out of county subsidy, That tho report of the Clork upon the several road lines in connection with tho grains for opening up Crown Lands be forwarded to tho County Council (or their consideration.
