LONDON WOOL SALES.

Dunedin, Maroh. 1, The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company have received the following London cable, dated March IThe wool sales opened at the level of last sales on the 28th February, and competition by both Home and foreign buyers is aotive. The sales comprise about 265,000 bales, and 35,000.ba1es have been sent to the manufacturing districts direot. The opening catalogue contains 6400 bales.
