fjenornlly born when be is mv young, and gels to bo nmnn before i.. iher. A boy is not so skittish »a a girl. Ho takes a mouse, which would scaro bis sister half to death, and tics a string to its tail and swings it ovor his bead. Thou he is in liib glory and laughs at bis Bister, who is lookinu for a knot-hole to hide in. He wears no lace bibs or corsets, petticoats or skirts. A boy possesses ten times more cheek than a girl, but it' be ever does any mischief he owns up to it with a bright and smiling face. Girls aro a great deal of trouble to theirpnrcnts, who have to keep them till somehody falls in love with aud marries them, Not so boy—be takes care of horses, works _in the mino, and raises Cain. All that girls do for exercise is to make dolls amlcrochot work, wbilo the boy, the >*-»M>.bfmankind, is.puttinßiip a job to pray on bis teacher, or playing base-ball. Hurrah ! then lor the boys. They are the standard-bearers of the world T
