Line 31.—Striko out" Treasurer," Rules 5 and 6.'-„ Strike out and insert following :—The Manager shall attend every meeting of the Socrfty at the timenamed for the commenceTnent of such meetings, He shall'enter minutes of all resolutions, and the business of the Society in the minute-book; ho shall keep the accounts in other and proper books to be provided for that purposo j he shall produce the banker's book at each meeting of the Society, and of the Directors, for the - inspection of the Members or Directors, as the case may be, and conduct the corresponkoe t *T Sooiety; he s,wll atten(l i)ttne Office of the Society on regular subscription Bights, and shall perform all services the Directors may require in accordance with these rules; he shall be answerable for all monies of the Society received by him, and shall, on the bank-day following every monthly meeting night, pay into the hands of the bankers of. the Society all monies received by him to the credit of the Society, and at the Fame time leave the bankers pass book to be made up, and for which duties he shall be paid a salary by quarterly instalments, the amount of such salary to be at the discretion of the Directors. The Manager shall give the security of a guaranteed Society, or such other security as the Directors may require, in a sum of not Am than £2OO, conditioned for rendering a J just and true account of all monies received and paid him on account of the Society, and for payment of a'l sums of monoy due f jom pirn to the Society at such times as provided in these rules. , i Rule 7. Line 3—Strike out the word "such" where it first occurs, Rule 12, After Society, line 5, insert the following: —'' And should such scrip be lost, the owner shall be entitled to a duplicate thereof upon making a statutory declaration of the actual loss of the original, and of his not having transferred his title thereto, and upon his paying a fee of 2s 6d to the Society." Insert the following new olause in Rule 12 :-•' All scrip which shall bo issued by the Society in respect of investment shares taken up between the Ist day of March and the Ist day of September in each year phall bear date the Ist day of March in such year; and all scrip which shall be issued in respect of shares taken up between the Ist day of September in one year and the Ist day of March in the succeeding year shall bear date the Ist day of September in ■ in such preceding year, and all applicants for such shares shall, on taking upthe same , pay, an amount equal to the subscriptions i that would have been payable in respect of Such shares had the same been taken up'on the Ist day of March or the Ist day of September, as the case may be, preceding such application, with interest on such subscription at such rate as may be from time to time fixed by the Directors from the date at which they would have been payable." Rule 13. Strike out and substitute the following : ' ■ " Any member desirous of withdrawing his investment may be allowed to do so on giving three months' notice thereof in writing to the Manager, provided always that tho Directors shall have full discretionary power to decide whether any, and if so how many shares, shareholders shall he allowed ot m Jirne to withdraw.
