Falcon, while shooting near Arfcaki, a town on the southern shore of tho Sea of Marmora, was attacked by several armed men and seriously wounded. The Porte, has, in compliance with the demand of Earl Dufferin, the British Ambassador, ordered that steps should be taken to arrest the authors of the outrage, and with this object a Turkish iroqclad will be despatched without delay to Artaki. Later news states that Commander Greenfield of the Cocatrice, who went to. the assistance of Commander Selby was also severely beaten. . It is now known the outrage was the result of a misunderstanding.
