Donedinj Feb, 2. Mr A. C. Strode's house at Waikouaiti, iqsijred in the National for JIOOO, was burnt down yesterday. Mr Strode went home the day before, and' had sold the place to Constable Townsend, out the transfer of the policy hud not been effected.
