CURIOUS FIRE AT WAIKOUAITI.
Donedinj Feb, 2. Mr A. C. Strode's house at Waikouaiti, iqsijred in the National for JIOOO, was burnt down yesterday. Mr Strode went home the day before, and' had sold the place to Constable Townsend, out the transfer of the policy hud not been effected. The goods in the house had been sold, but had not been removed, and were uninsured. •■•-•'.
