SALE OF BELVIDERE ESTATE.
THE sale of section 238, Taratahi Plain block, as subdivided into allotments (being part of the property known as the Belvidere, estate, on the western side of Carterton), was conducted-by Mr. F. H, 'Wood at his auction rooms on Wednesday. There were about 100 persons prosent, but only the following, lots..pasted under tho hammer, the bidding being exceedingly dull : Lot a. r. p. acre- .
The total proceeds of the sale were £962. At the conclusion of the sale, Mr Wood stated that; the unsold allotments would be ouen for' purchase at the'upset prices he had stated until Saturday next.
