Rabbit poisoning on runs at thin season of the year is in a great measure suspended from the danger which exist* of the phosphorous igniting dry grass. We hear that on the '1 aueru run this difficulty is obviated by the turf being removed with a sp.ide from the spots where the poisoned gram is laid and that the rabbits are attracted:to the bared patches and consume every grain of the piep red corn.
