CARTERTON SCHOOL.
The annual distribution of prizes to the children of the Carterton school took place on Tuesday last in the old Town Hall, which could barely contain the crowd within the limits of its walls, Mr E. Fairbrother, sen,, oocupied the chair, and distributed the prizes, which were hoth handsome and numerous. The Chairman, the Rev W. T.
