I '■'*] The following 'report will be presented i : attho annual meeting on Tuesday next : The Committee congratulate the resiflenls of Masterton on the cpmpletipn of school buildings udeqnate to the |equirements.. of' the town, and acknow. ledgp the liberal grant made by the .pldocation Board for their construction, and the hearty and cordial co-operation pf the Masterton Town Lands Trustees in the work, They also desire to express their high opinion of the skill displayed in the design of the various class rooms by Mr Tumbull the architect, and their satisfaction with the manner in which Messrs Williams and Barker,the local contractors, have carried out their part of the undertaking, ,'The Committee are satisfied that lhe_ result of the late annual exami. ration of the pupils proves that the teaching staff has done its duty, and'that in the coming year Masterton is likely to -J take a high position in the Education / District. They have thorough confidence in the Headmaster, Mr Grundy, and believe that his intelligence, industry, and professional skill, have already effected a marked change for the batter in the character pf tha aohopl.
