Messrs Lowes'and loms report that their usual fortnightly stock sale yesterday attemoon was wall attended, and the biddin? throughout moderately brißk. The "yards were well filled with cattle, sheep being scarce, but horses.plentiful ■ The prices realised are as follow Yearlings, £2 (2s; 2-year-old steers Bnd . heifers, £3 7s 6d to £4 j B-ypar.pld steers, from $5-to £5 IBs; forward condition 4- .. year-old steers, £7; dry cows, from £i to £6; dairy cows, to. £6,.. Sheep—aged ewes, from 6a Gdto 6s lOd, Horaeß—good farm.mares, £17105.; light farm, horses, from £3 to J7-; hack : horses, from £3 to £5. Pigs came late, and consequently sold low. Carts and bridge plant changed hands at satisfactory prices.
