Tub Masterton Borough Oounoil meets this evening and the question of gaß is pretty certain to be discussed. We understand that valuable and reliable inforinatiiiti has been obtained by the Town Clerk from other boroughs, but before any step can be wisely taken towards supplying the town of Masterton an official canvass should db made of the residents in the business portion of the town to ascertain the number of burners each one would use. The result of such a canvass ought to settle the question, as upon it exact calculations of receipts and expenditure could be easily based.
