Maaterton, 14th January, 1882. 1 Sir, —I have tho honor to submit the .following brief report on the public works of the Wairarapa West County : ; Opuki to Manawatu Road.—Sorensen and Co.'s. contract, 5 chains formation and. metalling and the construction of a culvert. Except the metalling" this conjtract ia nearly completed.
