CURISTCHUKCH,

The fire in the Union Lank originated in the ohief officer's room, but how, is a mystery. It was got under, but broke out again between two and three o'clock, and gave great trouble. The premises were completely gutted, The insurances are:- Union £2,000, Northern Royal Imperial £1,500, London, Liverpool, and Globe £1,300, total 17,800. The fire at Rees timber yard broke out intho centre of the premises, where no fire is evor used, The insurances, £2,300, did not cover loss
