i Auckland, this day; -The outripger champion raoo at the; Rogatta, brought put three entries; Carte and Floyd from New South Wales, and Albert White the Soulier.who was beaten by'Hearn.' The distance was 8j; miles. White led at the start, but was rapidly overhauled by .Carter who won as : he pleased by several lengths.
