RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

CARTERTON. [Before Wm. Booth, J.P.]

Richard Webb, William Webb, and Thomas Nolan were charged on the 27th inst on the information of Adam Armstrong for, that they were illegally on the premises of the informants' on the 27th December, 1881, with intent to hold unlawful, possession thereof, The prisoners having pleaded not guilty the ease was adjourned till Friday the 30th inat at 12 o'clock noon, bail being allowed on their own recognizances for £5. The case is a follower to that reported in our issue of the 27th inst. .
