It tvas lirst ushered in by a midnig'it Mass at St. Put lick'a Church, which was attended by n veiy large congregation, a suitable adilross' being delivered by theltev Father Ghesuais. We understand that the fruits of I lie present mission are mainly bein" devoted to the purchase of land, in the Dixon 031 ato for a Convent School in this district, St, MaHV.c's Church was beautifully decorated for the Christmas services, which w.'ve w-tdl attended. The Volunteov parade nnvenel fur the morning's servico was not a success. CTREYTOWN. On Christmas Day there was full service both ..morning mid evening at St Luke's Cliurch, Greytown. The. "Adesto Fideles 1 ' was sung before both Bervice, and Jackson's serviced in F were rendered by the choir, The Church has received: additional decorations, and now looks better than we have seen it before, the christening font and the cross section being very prettily ornamented. The bright flowers minglod with the ivy and other overnreeus having a very beautiful effect.
