gCHRODER, I gOOPEE, & CO., HALL OF COMMERCE. THE CHEAPEST AND BEST DRAPERY ESTABLISHMENT IN THE DISTRICT. QCHRODER HOOPER AND CO. |j respectfully beg to notify that on account of the liberality of the Government in talcing the duty off several lines in the drapery business, they have likewise reduced those lines at least 17| per cent, We furthermore beg to state that having already gained thereputation of king the cheapest and best house in the district for all kinds of general drapery, millinery and cbthinij, we intend to keep up that reputation and sell every article in the trade at the lowest possible prices, combined with quality and durability. Having enlarged our premises to over double its former she, and having stocked all the departments with every necessary article and material, we are now in a position to lay before our customers a selection which is not equalled by any storekeeper within Wairarapa, and not surpassed by any house in Wellington. Our business being so well known through the district, we do not think it necessory to go to large expenses and quote a price list, as these expenses must necessarily be charged to the public by putting them on to lines not. quoted, but simply state that we will undersell any price list that is got up in opposition to vs. So jar our regular selling prices are at least 10 per cent, less than any price list yet published, Our reasons for being able to sell less thvn any house in the trade are: 1. Not having a lot of heavy expenses to contend against, we can give customers the benefit. 2. Not being tied to any merchant, we are gnabled to purchase our stock from the best markets. 3 Wp soil cheap and for cash, thereby not making t Jot of bad debts. 4. Only undertaking the branch of business which we thoroughly understand, _wc can givo it every attention and only buying the best and ino«t durjblo class of gggds we must (five natisfation, REMEMBER THE ADDRESS IS SCHRODER, HOOPEK & CO, Wholesale aud Retail Drapers and Ctothiors Ilall of Commerce, MASTERTON, visitors If, WELLINGTON FOR CHEAP BOOTS# Sl®, CALL AT HICKMAN'S READY-MONEY BOOT SHOP, Willis-sL Opposite J, &H, Barber's Willis-st, Fob a Su kior A uticle, Opfofiit I'nkPEZsaknd, Mannors-st, I HICKMAN Pi-ornir.TOK, 935
