Rules and Regulations: All entries to be made subject to the condition that all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and that such decision shall be final and binding in all cases. Acceptances to be madn on or before Tuesday, 17th January. 1882, at 4 p.m. Three ontrios or the public money will be withheld. No protest will be considered unless lodged within 15 minutes after the race, and accompanied by a deposit of £2, which shall be forfeited if the protest is frivolous or vexatious. All jockey s to ride in the colors nominated, or a fine of lsov. will he enforced. No entry will bo admitted—Hack, Hack Hurdle, and Pony Races excepted—unless the person entering be a subscriber of ono guinea or more to the Race Fuud. The old rules of tho Wairarapa Jockey Club to apply in all cases not otherwise provided for by these regulators. The saddling-bell will ring at 11 a.m.-firat race to start at 1130 sharp.
